They're all dying

Here we go. First time with this blog. Don't know where I'm going and could care less...and so could anyone reading this. The thought struck me that all my film idols are now in graveyard: the Duke, Lee Marvin, Jack Lemon, Walter Mathau, Richard Pryor, and now Karl Malden. They're dropping off almost as fast as my friends. But the, some of them a living a good life in their old age. Consider the man who introduced me to my wife to be in 1954...he just turned 100 and is awaiting his orders to return to be a Army surgeon in Afaganistan. Well, maybe not, but he is still practing medicine until August first...had office hours 3 morings a week. Quite a guy...owes his longevity to at least one Manhattan a day (7 drops of bitters...no more...no less.)

So now I'll kick this blog into gear and see where it leads. Have some thoughts that will be forthcoming in a future writing.
